Let's Paint Some Pumpkins

Tired of the messy pumpkin guts that somehow get all over your entire house? Well look no further because the trend of painting your pumpkins instead of craving is getting bigger than ever.

People are going all out with some wickedly good designs.

After seeing everyone's beautiful creations, I decided to give this trend a try myself. So I gathered my supplies and got down to work.

Now I am not an artist and I won't pretend to be one so my pumpkins turned out a little childish looking, but hey I like my ghost!

I call this "Adult with Child Painting Skills" by Sarah Knieff.

I would recommend making sure your pumpkins are completely dry before painting. This will help the paint stick better and it won't run all over.

I also HIGHLY recommend making sure your cat is no where near the paint when you are crafting because other wise you will have purple paw prints all over your kitchen and living room. Yeahhhh... true story. I guess my cat Charli just wanted to paint too😂

Let me know if any of you decide to give painting a try this Halloween season in the comments below.

  1. I did this last year and it turned out pretty well. I did miss the pumpkin seeds though!
