Mason Jar Snow Globes

I was scrolling through Pinterest the other day, as one does when they are trying to procrastinate studying for finals, and I found an interesting holiday craft idea. Mason jar snow globe pins were everywhere! Now me being born without a single craft bone in my body, I don't normally do crafts let alone Pinterest ones. Pinterest crafts are like the expectation versus reality meme because they hardly ever turn out as gorgeous as excepted. However when I saw this I thought huh I think I can do this ... right? Well as it turns out this craft was literally one of the easiest things to make that actually turn out! I am not going to lie I was pretty dang proud of myself.

There are many things you can put into the mason jars to make cute unique snow globes, but I decided on trying the three most popular ones to see for you all if they really work out. I made a large globe with a sparkly deer, a medium globe with a tree atop a car, and a small globe with a forest and floating jingle bells.

Things you will need for all three globes:

  • Hot glue gun
  • Hot glue sticks
  • Fake snow flakes

For all the globes, they are really as simple as hot gluing the objects you chose in the mason jars and then filling the globe with fake snow.

Disco Ball Bambi Snow Globe; things you will need:

  • Large mason jar
  • Large sized mini tree
  • Mini deer or animal figurine
  • Twine

Christmas Tree Traditions Snow Globe; things you will need:

  • Medium sized mason jar
  • Miniature car
  • Tiny tree
  • Twine

Jingling Winter Wonderland Snow Globe; things you will need:

  • Small sized mason jar
  • Mini trees
  • Clear string
  • Mini jingle bells

Those are the three snow globe ideas that I tried out and I gotta say they worked well! If you give them a try let me know in the comments below! Have a safe and happy holidays everyone 😊
